Congratulations, you made it to the finish line!
A BIG congratulations to everyone who worked so hard on the WCAG 2.1 Compliance Project! Because of your hard work, our website isn't just functional—it’s truly inclusive.
Thank you for your patience through the audits, the endless testing, and the commitment to getting this right. You’ve made a real difference in how people interact with our website.
We now have a great foundation to build on. We will continue to make compliant sections and PDFs going forward. Look for future communications about website compliance as we move forward with this new mindset.
What has changed?
- HTML emails in the old channel will output blank pages. Emails just need to be archived or moved to the new channel. Emails moved to the new channel need to be remediated. Emails moved to the archive will have an archive banner and will meet WCAG standards.
- High-risk PDFs will not be published on . These files are still in the T4 Media Library and will be published again once they are replaced with a compliant version.
Notes from the SCU Webteam
- By meeting WCAG 2.1 standards, we’ve set a high bar for inclusivity and will continue to curate accessible content.
- Our web accessibility journey is still unfolding—let’s keep pushing forward and building digital experiences that work for everyone.
- We’re here to support you. We will continue to help you apply digital accessibility best practices moving forward.

PDF Accessibility
Remove unused PDFs in the T4 media library and discover which PDFs have the most accessibility issues using the PDF Accessibility tool (in the Compliance Assistant).
Published high-risk* PDFs: 514 (change this week -97) Unlinked PDFs**: 9113 (change this week +61)
*PDFs with a risk score of 40 or higher (higher score = worse). **Unlinked PDFs are easy to back up and delete. Use the "Remove Unused PDFs from T4" tool to make this easy.
The average score of published PDFs is 9.7 (change this week -1.6).
We have a little more work to do on PDFs. The team is still working with users on fixing PDFs.
